Pastor Eugene
Pastor Eugene Sim was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI where he came to faith at a young age. He moved to Los Angeles in 1993 to attend UCLA and has a degree in Sociology. He continued his education at Fuller Theological Seminary where he completed his Master of Divinity (M.Div) program (2002).
Eugene has pastored in various capacities, as a youth pastor, lead pastor, and executive pastor for 20 years in Southern California and Asia before joining GraceLife.
His passion is to connect people to Jesus Christ to give them hope during discouraging circumstances. He also wants people to experience what is written in John 10:10 by helping people live life to the fullest in Christ. He believes God wants to redeem the San Fernando Valley and greater Los Angeles and is thankful to serve in the area.
He is a die-hard Green Bay Packers fan and enjoys the outdoors, adventure, traveling, sports, and music, and he is a serious Mac user.
Pastor Mike
Pastor Mike Rix is a native of the Los Angeles area where he attended UCLA as a Political Science major. He lived in New York while attending law school at Hofstra University. He is a Trial Lawyer and serves Grace Life as a bivocational pastor.
Mike was first called into ministry at Church Everyday as a Children's Pastor, eventually serving the College Ministry and then as GraceLife’s Pastor.
He is passionate about helping people integrate their faith and vocation in the marketplace, believing we have all been given gifts and talents that glorify God in every sphere of life. He also deeply desires for men and women to find joy in disciplining their families and to leave a Godly legacy for future generations.
Mike enjoys spending time with his family. He enjoys traveling, theme parks, movies, and a good cup of coffee or a meal with friends while exploring city life.
Linda Paek
Linda Paek is from the Santa Clarita area, and received her Sociology degree from CSUN and her Master’s from Talbot School of Theology in Christian Education.
Linda has been a part of numerous ministries and industries throughout her life, including one of the largest Korean churches in Los Angeles, para-church and missions organizations, the Christian music business, book and curriculum publishing, higher education, and non-profit organizations, as well as worked in Corporate America, food/events, and hospitality.
After many years away in Denver, Nashville, and Kansas City, she is grateful to be back home in sunny California to help care for her elderly parents.
Linda was an active member and leader at GraceLife for several years before coming on staff as the Ministries Coordinator Pastor.
She loves to feed people, pray/intercede, celebrate life, read subtitles, and dream of brunching with friends who live all over the world.
